Please call or email for any questions about any options or upgrades that you desire to be part of your bicycle.
When your ready to begin the process, give me a call or send me an email so we can begin discussing what you’d like out of your bike. After and initial estimate and time-frame is established, I can hold your place in queue and set your build in motion for a non-refundable deposit of $250.
We’ll setup a time to do your frame design consultation and refine the initial estimate for the components and materials decided upon. At this time I’ll require an additional deposit of $500 to secure the materials and begin the build. If a complete build is desired all the parts will need to be ordered ahead of building the frame, in which case a deposit for the amount of the parts will taken. I’ll explain why below.
If you desire to have your new frame assembled into a complete brand new bike, I can make that happen. I can quote you for all the parts and labor of assembly. Every build is so different that every bike needs to be quoted individually. All the parts from all the major brands are available as well as parts from niche makers. A complete bike will be the best value because I can offer better prices on all parts than any retail shop can. I work with a master mechanic who does all my assembly from lacing your custom wheels to crimping your cables to make sure your Love Machine is primo from day one.
I need to have your parts on hand to build your bike and insure everything comes together as desired (even if we are building with used/vintage components). Every manufacturer does it a little differently so no part can be taken for granted to fit or play well with parts from other manufacturers. Every complete bike is fully assembled and ridden before it goes to paint, then taken apart, finished, and put back together. I’m not willing to sacrifice an expensive paint job and potentially months of time shipping stuff back and forth because we didn’t have all the parts when we needed them. Nothing is as expensive and frustrating than a bad gamble.
Nothing is left to chance with your new bike. You’ll dig it, with a shovel!
Call me, email me, lets talk about it.
